What's being claimed

Bayern are reportedly moving strongly to secure Olise to improved terms, and the club are said to be using Real Madrid's reported interest as leverage to accelerate talks. Separately, Foot Mercato's bulletin also references Amine Harit coming to the aid of Marseille's Leonardo Balerdi in some capacity, though the details on that strand remain vague from the available excerpt.

What would make sense

The Bayern logic is straightforward enough. Olise is 23, he fits Vincent Kompany's system, and clubs do not spend serious money on a player only to watch him leave on their own terms two years later. If Madrid are sniffing around, even loosely, Bayern would be foolish not to use that to their advantage at the table. The Olise-to-Madrid link is not inherently implausible either: Carlo Ancelotti's successor at the Bernabéu will need attacking quality, and Olise's profile fits the brief. He is the kind of player Real Madrid tend to at least pick up the phone about.

The Harit-Balerdi angle at Marseille is harder to read without more detail. Harit has been a peripheral figure at various points in his career, and Balerdi is Marseille's captain. What one has to do with the other's situation is not yet clear from what Foot Mercato have published.

What still needs to happen

Until a second outlet picks up the Real Madrid thread, this stays a contract story with a famous name attached rather than a live transfer saga. Bayern and Olise's camp would need to either confirm or deny talks. And the Harit-Balerdi subplot needs considerably more detail before it can be reported as anything other than a footnote. Bayern using Madrid as a negotiating chip is a very old trick. It works, right up until Madrid actually show up.
