The logic is sound enough. Twenty million euros for that profile, proven in the same league with zero adaptation curve, is modest in the current market. For Juventus, who have looked shaky at the back at times, it's the kind of low-risk, high-familiarity signing that makes sense on paper. For Bologna, the sporting cost is steeper than the fee implies — Lucumi has been central to everything Vincenzo Italiano inherited, and replacing him won't be straightforward.
