Jensen saves all four: Millwall's perfect shootout
Lukas Jensen saved all four QPR penalties in a Carabao Cup first-round shootout on Friday night — every single one — to send Millwall through after a 1-1 draw at Loftus Road. Four takers. Four saves. One goalkeeper who apparently didn't get the memo that shootouts are supposed to be tense.
What actually happened
Luke Cundle had given Millwall the lead before a Mark Sykes own goal levelled things up late for QPR, forcing the tie to penalties. What followed was less a shootout and more a one-man exhibition.
Jensen went four-from-four — diving, reading, stopping. QPR couldn't find a way past him regardless of placement or power. Millwall are through, and their goalkeeper is the reason.
The performance is the kind that travels fast. A keeper saving all four in a shootout is genuinely rare — the sort of clean sweep that gets clipped, shared, and replayed long after the competition moves on. Jensen didn't need a second chance at any of them.
Elsewhere in the first round
Preston won a tie played at Goodison Park. Kyle Walker scored the decisive penalty as Burnley won their own shootout — a 36-year-old right-back stepping up in a League Cup first-round tie and burying it. Walker's had bigger nights, but he still didn't miss.
