Six goals to five. Three lead changes. One record that had been sitting untouched since Rangers and Eintracht Frankfurt did something similar in 1960. The Bayern–PSG Champions League semi-final was, by any reasonable measure, completely unhinged.
Across 180 minutes, both sides scored four-plus goals in a European semi-final — the first time that's happened in the competition's history. The last tie that came close was Rangers 3-6 Eintracht Frankfurt, back when the tournament was still called the European Cup and half the current managers weren't born. This one had more lead changes, more chaos, and considerably better pitchside jackets.
